The key to all of our super soothing balms is in the ingredients. Powerfully pure, natural and organic botanicals, thoughtfully prepared with the intention to Soothe & Comfort. We use copious amounts of Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the standard for natural health and beauty care for thousands of years. We add fabulously emollient Castor Bean Oil and honey fragranced Golden Yellow Beeswax that is simply melted, filtered and poured. Depending upon the balm, we also add herbal power in the form of Organic Aloe Vera Extract, Supercritical CO2 Extracts of Sea Buckthorn Berry, Rose Hip and Calendula, natural butters like Cocoa and Shea and pure, steam distilled Essential Oils. Guess what? This is a tried and true formulation, blended to strike fear in the hearts of biting insects everywhere. It smells good, feels good, soothes dry skin, and it really works. Badger Bill personally tested this concept in Tamil Nadu, India where the Malaria mosquito is especially fierce, and in the biting fly wilderness of the Georgia Okefenokee Swamp.
